7.2 Update ROM Codes

The Update ROM Codes area allows easy viewing, editing, and creation of ROM codes.

Before running updates, ensure the Cost Data is correct using Set TA Cost Data:

This shows all Projects and lets you define:

• ROM Basis Number
• Final Cost for the TA
• Labor Rate

Once Cost Data is set, you can:

• View – Updated ROM Cost – preview proposed ROM changes.
• View – Update Change Request with P6 Mnhrs – preview manhour changes.

When satisfied, run:

• Update ROM Cost – applies ROM changes to the database.
• Update Change Request with P6 Mnhrs – updates Change Requests with P6 manhours.

Note: This module is the only Cost module that does not require a TA filter; it opens with all project data loaded.
