5.1.3 Receiving

The Receiving tab shows all materials that have been ordered and allows you to receive them into the database.

• Use filters at the top to limit the list.
• To receive the full ordered quantity for a PO line, double-click Receipt Date.
  • Today’s date is inserted.
  • Received Qty is set to the total ordered.
  • Received By is set to the current user.
  • Enter Storage Location to show where the material is stored.

Partial Receive

Use Partial Rec when you receive less than the total ordered:

• Enter the actual Received Qty, Received By, and Storage Location.
• The original line is updated with the new balance and a new line is created for the back-ordered amount.

Mass Receive

Mass Receive allows receiving all records in the current filtered dataset at once.

• You cannot partial-receive with this method.
